Community Welfare Initiative

Our Community Welfare Initiative

While on these retreats we strongly believe in giving back to the community. The idea of community welfare has its roots in giving back to the communities that host Project Aaina.

We often travel to remote locations for our retreats and experiencing the authentic culture of these small communities is always a priority.

We learn so much from their stories and lifestyle that inspired Rajvi Vats, founder of Project Aaina to initiate these welfare programs as a small token of gratitude towards these communities.

Team Aaina strongly believes that creativity and expression are very reliable tools to tackle inner turmoil, especially for young minds. With this passion in mind, we introduce individuals to this powerful tool of art in hopes of giving them a safe space to express themselves.

Rajvi Vats reflects on her own experience and issues faced as a child and wishes to give the children of these communities this powerful tool she wished someone had given her at the time. Through these welfare programs, Project Aaina tries to provide underprivileged children with resources for art and creativity while also conducting other interactive sessions to the best of our abilities.
